In Autumn 2022, I was chosen out of a large pool of applicants to participate in a Diveristy Case Study. Myself and two teammates were given one week to analyze a case brief and identify problems, solutions, and implementations for a Diversity & Inclusion issue. This year's brief was about invisible disabilities and ensuring dignity and proper accommodations in the workplace.
At the end of the week we had 15 minutes to present our findings in front of a panel of judges.
As a final presentation for my Persuasive Communication class, we had to present on a nonprofit of our choice and convince the average college student to support them. My family has a history of autism, so I decided to support The Arc, a nonprofit that advocates for and alongside autistic people.
This presentation covers some difficult topics, especially in slides 9 & 10. Viewers are encouraged to read the speaker notes at the bottom of the slides for detailed explanations.
At the end of my internship with Coded by Kids, my team and I had to present our final product and process in front of the entire company and external stakeholders. I created slides that utilized gifs to seemlessly show code, wireframes, and even the setbacks we faced working on the website.
